I’m Rob Paris and I write ‘Rob v. State’ to share my opinions on economics, government, politics and news. I believe in a small, limited government (if any), and a strong, unregulated free market. I’m a libertarian who follows the principles of Austrian economics. I enjoy reading Mises, Hayek, Rothbard and many others. I live in New York City and work in knowledge management for a large consulting firm. When I’m not reading, I enjoy hiking, traveling, playing soccer and volleyball, listening to music, eating pizza.
